This training is designed to strengthen our partners understanding of safeguarding and its critical role in effective MSD implementation and delivery. The session will provide an overview of safeguarding principles, why safeguarding matters, and how it contributes to creating safe, inclusive, and accountable environments for partner organization’s staff, and stakeholders.
The training will also explore the responsibilities of organisational leadership in promoting and embedding safeguarding within their institutions. Through practical discussions and real-world examples, participants will gain insights into how leadership commitment, policies, systems, and organisational culture can help prevent harm, manage risks, and ensure safeguarding standards are upheld across all programme activities.
By the end of the session, the leaders will have a clearer understanding of their role in fostering a culture of safeguarding and accountability, ensuring that safeguarding remains a core consideration in programme design, implementation, and delivery.
