On 7 August 2025, Propcom+ staff gathered for a full-day Environmental Management Training designed to strengthen the programme’s commitment to sustainability. The training, themed “Reducing Propcom+ Environmental Impact and Carbon Footprint,” equipped participants with practical strategies to integrate environmental best practices into daily operations and project delivery.

Key sessions covered:
- Understanding environmental impacts and carbon footprints.
- Nigeria’s environmental laws and compliance requirements.
- Strategies for reducing emissions across interventions
- An in-depth review of Propcom+’s revised Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
Staff also worked in groups to evaluate the environmental impact of ongoing interventions, developing tailored management plans for more sustainable implementation.

The day ended with actionable recommendations to monitor and reduce emissions, reinforcing Propcom+’s mission to lead by example in climate-smart development.
